Strategic Sequoia Group Inc., doing business as SSGI Benefits, operates this public website. SSGI Benefits is an independent insurance and benefits agency, not an insurance carrier. SSGI One is our product name, not a separate legal entity.
These terms describe permitted use of this website and the limits of its general information. Signed-in platform use is addressed in the SSGI One Terms of Service. An insurance policy, plan document or separately agreed service arrangement governs its own subject matter. Information handling is described in our Privacy Policy.
A visit to the website, a footer link or an inquiry is not evidence that you accepted a separate service contract. Contractual provisions requiring agreement must be presented for an affirmative acceptance action. Nothing here replaces legally required disclosures or individual permissions.
Agency information and insurance decisions
The site provides general education and describes available agency services. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting or medical advice, and general content is not individualized coverage advice. Rates, plan availability, laws and deadlines can change. Confirm current details through the appropriate licensed professional, carrier, plan or official source.
Quotes and illustrations are estimates subject to the applicable carrier's underwriting, eligibility, terms and approval. Sending an inquiry, saving a selection, receiving an automated acknowledgment or submitting an application does not itself bind, issue, change, cancel or confirm insurance coverage. Coverage and effective dates must be confirmed through the applicable authorized carrier or plan process. Existing coverage should not be cancelled in reliance on an unapproved quote or incomplete application.
SSGI undertakes services under the applicable arrangement and only within its authority. Describing benefits administration does not make SSGI the insurer, plan sponsor or decision-maker for every eligibility or claim question. This statement does not remove duties that applicable law assigns to SSGI.
General contact and planning tools
General business inquiries only. Do not send health or personal benefits information, Social Security numbers, member IDs, financial-account information, passwords or credentials through public forms, public chat or general email links. For benefits service, sign in to SSGI One; use app-access help if needed.
A request does not guarantee a response, appointment, quote, recommendation or completed action. Supply accurate information within your authority. Planning tools use your inputs for illustrative calculations; they are not a carrier quote, tax determination, funding commitment or guarantee of savings. Use aggregate or fictional figures rather than personal records.
Public AI assistance
Ask SSGI and our AI receptionist provide automated general information. Their public answers are not reviewed by a person before delivery, can be mistaken and are not personalized advice. They cannot authenticate someone for private account access, decide eligibility or claims, or guarantee coverage, service completion, appointments or outcomes.
Ask SSGI cannot submit forms, send email, enroll you or take action on your behalf. The receptionist supports call routing; transfer does not guarantee an immediate human answer. All calls are recorded. Keep sensitive information out of these public interactions. Written disclosures supplement the notice before an interaction. Other websites and services
Links, separate account portals, including existing-client BenefitZone access, and embedded insurance applications may be operated by other organizations with their own notices and terms. Read them where you enter information. A reference to an organization is not a guarantee of its products, security, availability or decisions. SSGI remains responsible for its own agreed work and nonwaivable duties.
The life insurance quote-and-application service is separate from the general contact form. Only provide application details through the designated application process. These terms do not establish that any other carrier, payroll, payment or reporting integration is currently available.
SSGI Benefits SMS Program
By affirmatively opting in, you agree to receive SSGI Benefits texts at the mobile number you provided for account notifications, benefits-enrollment links, and requested service communications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Texting is optional; you can receive service and complete enrollment through other available channels.
Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance or contact 410-638-9500 or https://www.ssgibenefits.com/contact. After opting out, you may reply START to request re-enrollment in texting; the applicable consent and eligibility checks still apply.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. A delivered text does not establish enrollment completion or insurance coverage. Do not send sensitive personal, health, identification, or account information by text. See our Privacy Policy.
Permitted use and intellectual property
You may use the website and make reasonable copies of public resources for your own lawful evaluation, education or benefits planning. SSGI and its licensors retain rights in the software, text, artwork, brands and other protected materials. This permission does not authorize resale, a competing copy of the site, removal of attribution or misleading use of SSGI's identity. Statutory rights, including fair use where applicable, are preserved.
Do not attempt unauthorized access, evade access controls, distribute malicious code, disrupt service, impersonate someone, submit unlawful material or obtain private records through the website. Report a suspected vulnerability without exploiting it or sending credentials or private records to apisupport@ssgibenefits.com.
Availability and responsibility
General website information and tools are provided as available. SSGI does not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free content, a particular financial result or performance of an independent provider. These limits do not override an express commitment in a controlling agreement or a duty imposed by law.
These public terms do not impose a monetary liability cap, an indemnity obligation, arbitration or a waiver of claims on a visitor merely for browsing. Responsibility for a loss depends on the applicable facts, law and any enforceable agreement. Nothing excludes fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, mandatory privacy or security duties, professional obligations or other rights and liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Separate, affirmatively accepted business agreements may allocate commercial risks within those limits.
Questions, disputes and changes
Questions or concerns may be directed to hello@ssgibenefits.com or 800-440-1045. Contacting us first can help resolve a problem, but is not a prerequisite to a regulator complaint, urgent relief or a timely legal claim. These public terms do not select an exclusive court or displace protections that mandatory law provides.
We will identify the publication date when these terms are approved and posted. Changes do not retroactively alter accepted contracts. When a change requires agreement or a separate notice, a website update alone is not sufficient. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remainder applies only to the extent lawful and consistent with its purpose.
