SSGI One helps keep benefits administration and service work connected. Depending on the selected and enabled service, information can be exchanged through an authorized file, data feed, API or other agreed process.
Relevant recipients can include carriers and plans, benefits administrators, payroll and deduction providers, payment and funding providers, reporting providers and the technology services needed to support the work. The appropriate process and permissions depend on your organization and the specific task. A list of recipient categories is not a promise that every connection or provider is available.
Before a connection is used, its purpose, recipient, information and permitted actions must be defined and approved by the appropriate people. An employer's approval does not replace a required employee, carrier, payment or other authorization. If a connection becomes unavailable, SSGI and the organization must identify the appropriate next step; a prepared file or status message is not proof of a completed transaction.
